My Fitness Journey
After living through the trauma of emotional abuse, fractured bones and a mental health breakdown, I have a deep empathy for what it takes to recover from “broken” experiences. I spent countless years repeating unhealthy patterns, trying to “fix” the fragments of my self esteem based on one or more aspects of my life. I worked on my mental health by undergoing psychotherapy, neglecting physical exercise and other influences on my emotional wellbeing. I focused on career and educational pursuits, ignoring the physical and emotional toll they took on my body & soul. I obsessed over the way I looked on the outside and transformed my physique to gain validation from others, as my own self confidence and peace of mind diminished.
Separating these three aspects of my life, often kept me feeling broken, busted and disgusted as I struggled to maintain balance in my daily life. Thankfully I discovered a path to motivate, affirm and practice living whole by learning how to show up as my true undivided self. The Tri-Fi 360° Fitness M.A.P. was the labor of love birthed through my personal fitness journey to connect my physical, mental and emotional well being to feel healthy, whole and complete. Guiding others on the path to the 360° connection between mind, body and soul is the basis for my work as an allied health professional, and is why I am sharing this M.A.P. (Motivation, Affirmation, & Practice) with the world.
